Our Duty is To Mine for Coal

The USA has more coal than anybody. All we have to do is dig it up. Modern technology has reached a point where we can replace wasted space at the tops of mountains with open-pit coal mines which can serve everybody. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't deserve to drive a Hummer SUV. You deserve it as an American. God gave us the bounty of coal, but it is up to us to get it. Let's start digging.

Coal. I have plenty in my bbq pit. I buy it in huge bags at Sam's Club. It is great for cooking my steaks and burgers. I always buy the mesquite-flavored kind.
I think it is pretty cheap if you buy it in bulk.

Sorry buddy, you and I are talking about different things. You are talking charcoal and I am talking about coal.

Look at it this way, If Superman crushed a charcoal briquet in his hand, he would get dust. If he crushed a handful of good old American coal, he would get a diamond.

Coal is the answer. And while we are on the subject, McCain is right about about drilling for oil off the coast. I think the horizon would look more interesting with a couple of modern and efficient drilling platforms. Plus the animals love them. Sea birds rest on them and barnacles and plankton help all the sea creatures to enjoy the bounty of man.
